Start of audience voting 2022

After thirteen weeks full of exciting insights, the application phase for the German Mobility Award 2022 closed at the end of August. We received numerous innovative projects and nominations from personalities, companies and startups from the mobility and digital industries as well as other relevant sectors. This shows how many citizens, founders and developers are currently working on rethinking and shaping the future of mobility.

Unsurprisingly, the top three German states with the most submissions are Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia. The challenges addressed by the projects include topics such as sustainability, connectivity, transformation, livable city, knowledge exchange, networking, data, security, accessibility and inclusion. A total of 36 projects in nine categories are up for election. Here you can find an overview of the nominated projects and people on the longlist.

What happens next?

From now until October 15, all citizens can vote on which of the exciting projects and outstanding personalities will make it onto the shortlist in the DMP’s nine categories. In parallel, the projects and proposals will be evaluated by our jury. The shortlist will be compiled in a ratio of 30 to 70 percent from public and jury voting.

At the jury meeting on October 26, 2022, the jury will select the winners of the respective categories from the shortlist. At the award ceremony, the winners will be presented with the German Mobility Award 2022 on October 27, 2022.

You can vote for your favorites for the German Mobility Award 2022 until October 15. Take the chance to have your say on which trend-setting projects and personalities should change the future of mobility in Germany!
