The Award

  • The German Mobility Award recognizes and celebrates pioneering initiatives, applications, and products leveraging digitalization to advance sustainable mobility. These endeavors prioritize ecological, economic, and social compatibility while remaining attentive to people’s needs. By showcasing technological and social innovations, the award fosters a culture of collaboration, encouraging individuals to forge connections between these realms.

  • The application phase for the German Mobility Award has ended. Stay informed: Subscribe to our newsletter and receive all the latest news about the competition in good time.

  • We are looking for the best projects, products, and applications in a total of four categories:

    • Digital Transformation and AI

    • New Mobility Solutions

    • Design

    • Good Practice

  • The German Mobility Award does not come with any cash prize. However, award winners and nominees receive not only significant public attention and the opportunity to promote themselves with one of the most important awards in the field of digitization and mobility but also exclusive networking opportunities with decision-makers and experts from the mobility industry, numerous communication materials, and transparent feedback from the jury.

  • Who is behind the German Mobility Award? In 2022, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) entrusted iRights.Lab and the Gesellschaft für Informatik with the planning, execution, and supervision of the German Mobility Award.

  • The jury consists of experts from politics, administration, business, science and civil society who are familiar with the topics of digital transformation, mobility and innovation. One citizen will complete the jury.
